Bengal govt launches ‘Apnar Sarkar, Apnar Pashe’ portal for welfare and public service complaints
Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh has triggered a political firestorm by openly praising the organizational strength of the BJP and RSS. Sharing a nostalgic photograph of a young Narendra Modi sitting at the feet of veteran leader L.K. Advani, Singh described the image as "impressive." He highlighted how grassroots workers in these organizations are nurtured to eventually hold the highest offices in the country.
In his post on X, the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister noted that the discipline of sitting at the feet of leaders and rising from a 'Swayamsevak' to Prime Minister reflects the "power of the organization." He concluded his remarks with the slogan "Jai Siya Ram," a move that many see as a departure from his usual critical stance toward the saffron wing.
The timing of this praise is particularly significant as Singh’s second Rajya Sabha term is set to conclude next year. Adding to the intrigue, he tagged top Congress leadership including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi, alongside PM Modi. While some view it as a genuine appreciation of organizational discipline, others speculate it might signal a shift in the political landscape.
